FEAR IN THE PHILIPPINES: THE COMPLETE BLOOD ISLAND FILMS (1959-1970) Severin Films Blu-ray Review

Severin Films' new FEAR IN THE PHILIPPINES: THE COMPLETE BLOOD ISLAND FILMS Blu-ray set collects the four films helmed by Gerardo de Leon and Eddie Romero between 1959 and 1970, revealing the shocking details of panther men, mad scientists, damsels in distress, green-blooded beasts, he-man heroes, and all manner of South Seas savagery. Originally released by Hemisphere Pictures, these four flicks are prime Drive-In fodder, schlock full of exploitation elements and sure to warm a cold night or brighten a weekend afternoon.

TERROR IS A MAN (1959)
BRIDES OF BLOOD (1968)
MAD DOCTOR OF BLOOD ISLAND (1969)
BEAST OF BLOOD (1970)

Previously released as individual discs by Severin, now contained on two Blu-rays in one case, housed in a nice hard shell slipcase, with all extras from previous editions ported over, including copious commentary by Independent International impresario Sam Sherman, detailing the finer points of film production, distribution and marketing.
