BFI in the UK has released a new, remastered Blu-ray edition of the 1975 feature film debut of 70s glam rock superstars Slade, SLADE IN FLAME, in a glittering new transfer with copious extras. Not what Slade fans may have expected or wanted at the time of release, a killer soundtrack and dark look at the realities of the pop business of the day give it a much longer shelf life than it otherwise may have had if it was made to please.
