I dug the new KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. It happily dodged my expectations and gave us a more restrained and thoughtful new entry in the series, and I hope it does well enough to allow this new exploration of the ideas of the original films to continue.

Available starting 1/26/24 on Prime Video is the 2023 German thriller TRUNK: LOCKED IN, arguably the best film about a woman held prisoner in a car trunk.
