Sony Pictures' new KARATE KID: LEGENDS is essentially a remake of the original film, with well-choreographed yet predictably poorly-shot/cut action, but a charming cast and lots of laughs balance out the demerits.

I went into the new A24 horror film BRING HER BACK (from the directors of TALK TO ME) totally blind, and really enjoyed this disturbing, gory slow-burn of a flick.
