THE BIKERIDERS (2024) Theatrical Review

Jeff Nichols' THE BIKERIDERS is that rare "biker" movie that digs under the surface of the leather-clad hog riders and lets you understand what motivates these two-wheeled outlaws to live the way they do, and how that impacts those in their immediate orbit. Drawn from the pages of Danny Lyons' 1968 book of the same name, it tells the story of the Chicago Vandals riding club through the words of the members and their wives, as the club grows (and grows out of control) from 1965-1973.
